During winter, the box can be used as a shelter for birds to take refuge from harsh and cold weather conditions. To ensure the best placement for the nesting box, it's recommended to hang it on a tree or wall in a well-hidden spot between shrubbery, avoiding direct sunlight and full rain affected areas. To clean out the nesting box you can simply remove the roof for easy access.
