The Esschert Design Wren Nesting Box is the perfect home for wrens looking for a safe and cozy place to nest. Made from 100% FSC Pinewood, this traditional nesting box has a rural feel and comes complete with a bitumen roof to keep the birds dry on rainy days.

This nesting box is perfect for conservation or reintroduction projects, as it helps to conserve the wren population by providing them with a safe place to nest. During winter, the box can be used as a shelter for birds to take refuge from harsh and cold weather conditions. To ensure the best placement for the nesting box, it's recommended to hang it on a tree or wall in a well-hidden spot between shrubbery, avoiding direct sunlight and the prevailing rain side. The keyhole opening and side door make it easy to clean in the fall, which is the best time to do so.

The Esschert Design Wren Nesting Box has a 30 mm (1.181") diameter entrance hole, perfect for wrens to enter and exit with ease. Due to their territorial behavior, it's best to hang the nesting box at least 10 meters away from nesting boxes of the same species and a minimum of 3 meters (10 ft.) away from feeding houses.
